Green Bursa the Ottoman Capital Tour from Istanbul

Departure by our private vehicle through the state-of-the-art newly built Osmangazi Bridge and the highway will take you to Green Bursa within 2 hours. Welcome to Green Bursa, the city of the legendary mountain Olympos. It’s also the home of the “Kebap of Alexander The Great“ that you will taste today. Being locals, we will show you where you can have this experience in the best way possible. Nowhere in Bursa is the same. Bursa is also famous for its healing thermal spas. Turkish Baths and “Hamams” are ancient traditions in the city. From pensions to 5-star hotels, there are many places where you can be spoiled and treated by traditional “hamam tellaks” like a king or queen. Our first activity today is climbing by the iconic cable car to Uludağ Mountain, a famous ski resort during the winter times in Turkey. Uludağ has always been a fave ski resort amongst Turkish and international nature and ski lovers. It’s one of the best national parks in Turkey. If the cable car is not on operation due to the inconvenient weather conditions or long lines, we will take you through the scenic route that will take us to a 600 years old Inkaya plane tree where you can also taste the traditional Turkish coffee on our way. After Uludağ we will visit city’s most iconic Ottoman Empire time sites such as Ulucami (Grand Mosque), the Green Mosque and the Green Mausoleum (sightseeing). No visit can be completed without visiting the silk market in Old Covered Bazaar with its top quality silk products.  We can add an overnight in Yalova city or transfer you for your next journey. No later than 10 pm we should be back in Istanbul. We can also provide your airport transfer afterwards.
