Depending on the number of travellers in the group, this tour departs from Istanbul in a private car, van, minibus, or bus. You will be transferred from Istanbul to Ankara by a high-speed or overnight train, plane or overnight bus to Ankara where the tour commences. Tour departs on Sundays only.

Day 1 Visit to Anatolian Civilizations (Hittite) Museum and Mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk in Ankara. Continue to Cappadocia via Salt Lake and Seldjoukian Ağzıkarahan Caravanserai from outside. Dinner at the hotel and overnight in Cappadocia.

Day 2 Full-day tour of Cappadocia. Citadel of Uçhisar, an open-air museum of Göreme Valley with “Fairy Chimneys”, Underground City of Kaymaklı, Paşabağ (Monks’) Valley and Avanos. Dinner at the hotel and overnight in Cappadocia.

Day 3 Early departure for Konya, city of the ” Whirling Dervishes”. On the way, visit the 13th-century Seldjoukian Sultanhan Caravanserai. Visit to the Mausoleum of Mevlana, a world-famous philosopher and poet and his theological school of the whirling dervishes. Dinner at the hotel and overnight in Pamukkale.

Day 4 Visit the ruins of the largest Necropolis Graveyard, the Roman Baths, the Basilica, and a unique formation of petrified calcium cliffs and stalactites in the ancient city of Hierapolis. Aphrodisias is a well-preserved Greco-Roman site dedicated to Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love. Visit Ephesus, the Roman capital of Asia Minor, the House of the Virgin Mary, and St. John’s Basilica. After lunch, drive to Izmir for a flight or overnight bus to Istanbul in the evening. The tour can be extended to “six days” by including Pergamum and Troy in addition to Istanbul. Day 5 Early departure for Pergamum. After lunch, visits to the Aesculapium and Acropolis. Continue to Troy, the legendary town in the Iliad of Homeros. Visit the Athena Temple. Drive to Çanakkale. Dinner at the hotel and overnight in Çanakkale.

Day 6 After breakfast, cross the strait by the new 1915 Çanakkale Memorial Bridge and drive to İstanbul along the shores of the Marmara Sea. Return to İstanbul by our vehicle and end our service in Istanbul.
